Vote USA 2004
今日、フロリダでアメリカの大統領選挙の不在者投票が行われたようですが、サーバートラブルで何時間も投票できなかったようです。今回は、タッチパネル形式の投票で投票記録が紙に残らない不安感、サーバートラブルでデータが一気に消えてしまったらどうするの、なんて心配してしまいます。IT先進国のアメリカでも、まだこの様な投票は普及していないようです。
投票率が下がっているので、『投票へ行こう』みたいなCM が沢山流れているようですが、デカプリオ(Leonardo DiCaprio) Produces 「Get-Out-the-Vote」は見ててもクール？ですね。
これを見るためにはQuickTimeが必要ですので、インストールして無い人は前もってやっておく必要があります。
「Rock The Vote」のサイトにいって「THE MEDIA」をクリック「Artist Rock the Vote」を選んで、次に「If You Care (Long)」をクリックすると始まります。
州によって投票方法が違うと言うのも、良いのか悪いのか判りませんが。投票を促そうと言う運動があることが良いことだと思います。カリフォルニアの「簡単投票ガイド」というサイトでは、丁寧に投票方法を説明して、英語とスペイン語、中国語、韓国語、ベトナム語で投票についての説明をしています。

はじめまして、こんにちは。トラックバックありがとうございます！アメリカの選挙は日本とは全然ちがいますよね。日本では芸能人が政治的なことを言うと叩かれる傾向すら見られますもんね。愛国心の差なのでしょうか・・？

はじめまして、こんにちは。意外な所からトラックバックありがとうございます！向こうでは大統領選挙もお祭なんですね。芸能人やらミュージシャンなどなど総動員ですもんね。でも、それだけ重要な選挙である事も確かですから、一票でものがせません。日本人は見守るのみです。前回のごたごたも醜いと思ったけど、あれが世界の動きを左右したごたごただったと言っても過言ではないでしょう。さて、どうなることやら？
